Product information

Enterokids contains 4 groups of substances:

  • those that eliminate undesirable substances
  • those that improve digestion including the lactase enzyme for a more efficient breakdown of lactose (lactose intolerance)
  • those that feed the intestinal flora
  • those that assist the function of the intestinal mucous membrane and of its cells, or restore it.

Enterokids also contains:

  • specific probiotics for infants
  • specific plants that stimulate digestion

For a newborn baby, it is crucial for its intestinal flora to establish itself as quickly as possible. That intestinal flora contains mainly Bifidobacteria. As the intestinal mucous membrane+B39 is not yet fully formed, they play a vital role in creating that protective layer of the intestine (against pathogenic bacteria by adhering to and stimulating the mucous membrane). It contains the Bifidobacterium, brevis, infantis and longum, as well as the Lactobacillus plantarum, which is an important strain for this embryonic organ.

The intestinal mucous membrane has a twofold role: absorbing nutrients and suppressing undesirable substances. This is precisely why the B39integrity of the intestinal mucous membrane is so important. If the intestinal mucous membrane can no longer carry out one of its functions, a number of problems can arise.

What are the 4 groups concerned and what are their functions?

  1. Many vitamins and minerals have a significant antioxidant function and are also the precursors of certain enzymes in the detoxification process.

An important detoxification mechanism against carcinogens is glucuronidation achieved by the intake of calcium D-glucarate.

The conjugation of glutathione is another detoxification pathway. Cysteine and the amino acids glycine and glutamine make up this tripeptide, glutathione.

Spirulina is rich in proteins that are easy to assimilate. It contains a high concentration of chlorophyll, the basic substance for the production of cytochromes. Cytochromes play a crucial role in the hydrosolubilisation of liposoluble toxins.

  2. The function of the digestive tract cells is to supply all the cells of the body with energy. Obviously, good digestion is essential. Foods are broken down by enzymes and that breakdown begins in the mouth and continues in the digestive tract. All kinds of enzymes act as catalysts: they activate biochemical reactions, play an essential role in most of the regulating mechanisms and help the metabolism adapt to changes in situation.

The enzymes contained in Enterokids are bromelain, papain, trypsin, lipase, catalase and SOD (Superoxide Dismutase).

One of the main digestive disorders involves lactase intolerance. This can be prevented by administering the lactase enzyme until the intestine is capable of generating it itself so that lactose is broken down into simple carbohydrates.

  3. The degree of acidity also plays a key role, hence the importance of our intestinal bacteria. They produce vitam+B39ins themselves such as vitamin K and some B vitamins. They feed on fibre (curcuma root) which, in turn, affects intestinal peristaltism.

  4. The cells of a healthy intestine produce mucous and bicarbonate, thus reducing the damage caused by toxins. Glutamine is an important source of energy for the large intestine. Gamma oryzanol, a substance contained in rice bran, has a positive effect on the intestinal mucous membrane. Curcuma longa boosts immunity and has a stimulating and regenerating function for the mucous membrane.

Enterokids also contains three plant extracts:

  • Glycyrrhiza glabra or liquorice, which has 4 effects:
    1. curative on the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestine due to its natural corticoids
    2. spasmolytic (to prevent cramps) due to the aglycone liquiritigenin of liquiritin and isoliquiritigenin
    3. stomachic (tones the stomach and improves the quality of stomach secretions)
    4. digestive (improves digestion) due to bitter substances
  • Foenicum vulgare or fennel is an excellent remedy for relaxing the stomach and intestines and also stimulates the digestion and appetite. Also acts on flatulence and minor cramps.
  • Taraxacum officinale or dandelion is an agrimony, which also acts as a mild diuretic and which has a curative function for the stomach.

All the substances for regeneration of the mucous membrane and the nutritional support of the intestinal barrier, on which serious scientific documents are available, can be found in Enterokids.
