An important substance specific to Gaultheria procumbens or ‘Wintergreen’ is an essential oil consisting mainly of methyl-salicylate. Wintergreen oil is used as a counter-irritant (cutaneous stimulant and promoting blood supply) in various articular ailments.
Salvia sclarea or (Clary) Sage has an antibiotic and detumescent action (reduces swelling).
Rosmarinus officinalis or rosemary helps to improve the venous status and limit vasodilatation, which occurs in most articular inflammations.
Camphor or Cinnamomum camphora relieves cramps or pains and, therefore has a beneficial effect during treatments for problems relating to rheumatic complaints, muscle pains and bruising / twists and sprains.
Fermaderma is a patented excipient consisting mainly of natural vegetable oils. On contact with an alcohol radical, these oils form a dispersion of ultra-fine half-cells. This dispersion facilitates deep and optimum penetration / absorption of the skin.
The cream's non-greasy texture make it easy to apply. It does not stain clothing and penetrates the skin without massaging.
